New homes for sale at The Quadrant as demand soars

Thousands of people across the country have used Help to Buy to purchase a new home since the Government initiative was introduced in 2013.

Building work has continued through the pandemic at The Quadrant and construction has advanced far enough for more two and three-bedroom homes to be released for sale.

Two of the homes were reserved immediately and the others have been drawing the attention of home-hunters.

David Newton, Managing Director of Chestnut Homes, said: “The Quadrant is a landmark new development for Boston which is making a wide range of high-quality housing available. The Government’s Help to Buy scheme has enabled many of our customers to reserve with just a five per cent deposit.

With Help to Buy, you can secure a new home with a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage. The remaining 20 per cent is provided as a Government-backed equity loan with no interest payable for the first five years.

In addition to the 500 new homes that are being built at the site, Costa, Burger King and Greggs opened their doors to the public last year. When completed, the development will also host shops, a petrol station and a hotel.
